FOX News Channel - 10-Year Anniversary Tour
September, 2006
Fall 2006, Asphalt Media supported FOX News Channel's 11 city, 10-Year Anniversary Tour. Over a 29 day period and 11,00 miles, the network graphics were exposed on heavily-trafficked commuter arteries, local surface streets, and large downtown metro areas. The graphics were also used as a backdrop for live events that FOX orchestrated in each city. The strategy selected utilized Asphalt's "targeted" offering which provides specific routing, destinations and day-parts to effectively reach designated audiences identified by FOX News.
This campaign marked the second time FOX used Asphalt Media in 2006. The first, a promotion of Greta Van Susteren as the #1 women in cable news. For Greta Van Susteren FOX opted a second time to deploy a "targeted" campaign focused in the New York DMA. The objective was to optimize exposure in Times Square, Rockefeller Plaza, Columbus Circle, Yankee Stadium, Northern New Jersey, Southern Connecticut and Long Island. The trailer graphics were used as a live, on-air, backdrop outside the FOX studios on 6th Avenue.
The creation of on-air brand presence is a frequent experience and additional value for Asphalt Media's advertisers.
